"Mission Satement - Greening Lovedale"
"To actively encourage the businesses and residences of Lovedale to participate in the Greening Lovedale program."
The issue of Global Warming is no longer in doubt!
• the summer Arctic ice is expected to disappear in the next few years.
• the Polar Bear was officially listed as threatened under the US endangered species Act in 2008. It is the first creature brought under the Act's protection for habitat loss that is linked to global warming.
• the Great Barrier Reef, comprising over 3000 individual reef systems, is expected to be destroyed unless there is a 25% reduction in carbon emissions by 2020.
• the small Pacific nation of Tuvalu, population of 10,000, is threatened with irrevocable loss by rising sea-levels as a result of the impact of global warming
The Lovedale businesses and community are "Greening Lovedale" and would like to invite you to participate during your stay. You can help us by:-

The Lovedale businesses and residents are actively involved in raising the awareness of the issues surrounding the industry known as Coal Seam Gas. Several of us travelled to a rally in Sydney on Sunday, March 20th to join with others around the state to protest against this environmental catastrophe.
