James Halliday awards Noonji Estate 5 Stars
When James Halliday, one of the world’s foremost authorities on Australian wine, says “spectacular” you know it’s for real.
Peter and Barbara Jensen, owners of the small Lovedale Hunter Valley vineyard Noonji Estate, are very excited at being ranked in Halliday’s 2011 Australian Wine Companion as a 5 star winery, the only NSW vineyard to make it into his Top 10 New Wineries; also achieving 5 star rankings for two of their top drops & 4.5 stars for the next 3.
Barbara says it was a mixture of hard work and luck, “we were lucky to get one of the best winemakers, Nick Patterson, to come on board and bring his expertise in handling small volumes of grapes.”
